"I have actually done this one day training and I found it of great value,  and I would most definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone.  You don't need to be a professional or even a worker because each and every day we all meet up with different people, some of them we already know & some we don't but if this course helps just one person to help another when they are going through an extremely tough time in their life then it has done it's job.  I have unfortunately known more people than I have wanted to who have taken their lives and had I known a bit more perhaps I could have changed the results for a couple of them, perhaps not but I would have at least had more skills to deal with it. 

 

If you can spare the time then please consider doing the course, it is a fantastic thing the Rotary Club is doing free of charge for the Community.  They have plans of trying to extend this out into smaller communities so if you know anyone from out of Townsville who may wish to attend then please feel free to share this email with them.  If finance is a problem I am sure between us all at the Rotary Club we could find them a bed to keep costs down.
