Compulsory Public Liability Insurance
Rotary has organised public liability insurance from QBE for all stallholders attending Willows Rotary Markets, Cotters Markets and Strand Night Markets. The cost will be $10 per annum per stallholder, and is compulsory, even if the stallholder has other (much more expensive) insurance. The requirement comes into effect from 1 December 2009, and a copy of the policy is available below.
Rotary will pay the first year’s premium for stallholders (1/12/2009 - 30/11/2010), and will collect the annual stallholder premium in twelve months time.
This is very cheap insurance, and will make sure that all stallholders are fully protected.
Holidays
Regular stallholders who wish to take a break of up to 8 consecutive markets (Willows & Cotters) and wish to keep their site should complete a holiday form. Stallholders should give the holiday form to the Rotary cordinator or email it to bookings@townsvillerotarymarkets.com.au prior to taking their break.
Interim Cotters Markets location
Rotary has designed an Interim Cotters Markets location in the Western end of Flinders Mall (from Stokes St through to Stanley Street) for the Flinders Mall redevelopment period from March 2010 Please see 17Jan10 newsletter for full details.
