Activities

 

At the Rotary Club of Thuringowa Central, we operate the Willows Rotary Markets and Cotters Market every Sunday morning and Strand Night Markets on the first Friday of the month (May-December), as our main fundraiser. Members who can help are rostered on every three months or so.  

 

We are heavily involved in the international youth exchange programme, and often host a young person from overseas. We also send out young people from Thuringowa on a twelve month overseas exchange. 

 

We are involved in Community projects, such as building a rebound wall at Kelso, and the Back on Track programme for disengaged youth. 

 

We participate in community events such as the Australia Day celebrations, Clean up Australia day and the Relay for Life event. 

 

We have a number of social events throughout the year. 

 

We involve the families of Rotarians in all our activities.
